South Beach is located immediately west of Gold Beach. The west edge of Gold Beach is South Beach! South Beach is approximately 7 miles long, spanning from the Rogue River south to Cape Sebastian.
Access to South Beach is easy:

• At Hunter Creek park at the Kissing Rock pullout and walk to South Beach.
• In Gold Beach from Highway 101 turn toward the ocean on 5th Place and work your way to Oceanside Drive. It’s just a block or two.
• In Gold Beach from Highway 101 turn toward the Ocean on Moore Street and wind your way past the post office, port facilities and airport to the Rogue River South Jetty and Oceanside Drive.
