Our journey South became protracted by a shared sickness – potentially COVID Delta variant related – but not confirmed. After leaving Winfield KS, we spent a couple of weeks in Sulphur Springs TX where we took our time getting over our symptoms and recuperating our strength and energy. Before heading south again, we stopped to pick up components for our ever-growing solar system before heading to Montgomery TX for the winter months.
We have been blessed to have a remarkable location to park for the next few months. A site with enough concrete pad to park both our RV and truck, full hookups, and nearby friends for social interactions.
We’ve also had the awesome opportunity to take some day trips and visit nearby recreation areas. The Southeast section of Texas has some remarkably beautiful lakes and camping opportunities and that’s just the tip of the (Texas) iceberg!
Experiencing parts of the country that are new to me has been an invigorating experience! Doing so while still maintaining my small business and the friendships that come with it – has been a fulfilling experience. I so appreciate all of the customers in my life and love, love, love that I can play a small role in my client’s success stories!
Spending the Holidays in the south has been refreshing. As I write this, we are experiencing a sunny 80-degree day with higher humidity that takes some getting used to. Reconnecting with lifelong friends has been a special reward on top of the warm climate. Being nearer to my Southern clients has been an added reward.
We expect to remain in this part of the country until Springtime before we start heading North again. Until then, we are going to keep on soaking up the Southern hospitality and sunshine.
I am so grateful to have this life experience and look forward to visiting even more of this amazing country!
In the meantime, don’t be shy about reaching out for any of your website or online marketing needs. I’m standing (sitting) by to serve you!
